Ericsson 3 named in Barcelona

The naming ceremony of Ericsson 3 marked the start of an intensifying phase in communicating Ericsson’s commitment to the Volvo Ocean Race, both the sailing race and the race for business. The naming ceremony took place during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, one of the most important events for Ericsson in 2008 since most of their major clients were on site.

Ericsson will enter the Volvo Ocean Race 2008-09 with two boats, Ericsson 3 and Ericsson 4. The race will start in Alicante October 11th. More information online is available at www.ericssonracingteam.com.
