PS Communication won the prestigious trade award Gyllene Hjulet for campaign “vacation on vacation” for Sydsvenska Dagbladet.

We’re thrilled! Especially having won the “Grand Prix” category, say Birgitta Lotzman and Erica Röden. We want to compliment Sydsvenska Dagbladet and The Fan Club for outstanding teamwork!

Jury motivation

“8 of 10 house owners experience stress in taking care of chores during their vacation”.  With this basic insight, Sydsvenskan offered the possibility for a number of families in Skåne to get instant relief. The campaign showed that the newspaper cares about daily problems experienced by readers – the practical solution is an example of a creative approach seldom seen in the trade – keep it simple! The campaign “vacation on vacation” is without a doubt this year’s most creative Event Marketing solution.
